I had these guys in to replace / fix a leaking drain valve on my water heater. This is not a big repair but plumbing is a black art so I don't want to try myself and I am willing to pay someone to fix...I had these guys in to replace / fix a leaking drain valve on my water heater. This is not a big repair but plumbing is a black art so I don't want to try myself and I am willing to pay someone to fix it for me The plumber was on time (a bit early in fact) and very courteous. He warned me that because the valve was plastic there was a chance of breaking it off and having to replace the entire water heater. The valve came off okay and he replaced it with a brass valve. He then pointed out some problems with the gas line to the water heater but nothing major. He gave me some tips on preserving the life of the water heater (regular draining to clear out any solids) and then he was done. He didn't try to sell me a service like another big plumbing outfit has tried to do. My kind of plumber.More »
